Job Type: Permanent Category: Human Resources Location: Brisbane Date Advertised: 07-APR-25 Job Reference: BOE/1854340B Job Title: Manager, HR Business Partners Business Unit: Division: Summary: We are is currently seeking to recruit a Manager, HR Business Partner team, reporting to the Director, HR APAC. This role will partner with the Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) business, and is responsible for leading a team of experienced HR professionals based across Australia, delivering strategic and operational HR services across the BDA business.  The successful candidate will be accountable for the delivery of best-in-class HR support and to build partnerships across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional and people leader who enjoys working in a growth environment, managing change and service improvement as well as day to day problem solving and service delivery.  This position is hybrid with much flexibility, however due to the hands-on nature of the business, such a client facing role is expected to be on site 3 days a week to build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Accountable for leading and managing a high performing team focused on translating HR strategy to action, delivering service and operational excellence. Collaborate with senior leaders to deliver strategic people initiatives. Responsible for effective HR Partnering engagement across the BDA business and deployment of HR tools and procedures and uses data and insights to drive decision making and continuous improvement. Partner with the enterprise and broader BDA HR function's COE's on execution activities and priorities. Provide expert advice on employee relation, performance management and organisational change. Drive project implementations into the business via the HR Business Partners with their respective business areas.   Ensure alignment of HR practices with business goals and objectives. Keeps up-to-date knowledge of partnering best practices and business strategies. Provide oversight and guidance on HR operational processes and policy within legal frameworks. Stakeholder Management Responsibilities Partner with BDA to build knowledge of HR strategies and how to execute on People goals. Engage with Australia COE's and other HR teams to deliver on joint initiatives and projects. Forms part of the APAC HR Leadership Team. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Ensure team members understand the expectations on their roles successfully perform their responsibilities. Applicants must be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain an NV1 security clearance, employment sponsorship cannot be offered. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred but not essential. 8 - 13 years' experience is required, with management experience, preferably in leading geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders. Experience of managing change programs and leading a team through change. Knowledge of talent acquisition and retention best practices would be useful. A clear understanding of service delivery and using metrics to measure and manage performance. Experience in leading a team of HR Business Partners delivering services within the Defence industry would be advantageous.
