Due to a period of high growth we are seeking an experienced Optimizely Developer on a 6-month fixed term contract. Our ideal candidate will be obsessive over great work, love working with a variety of people, be self-motivated, passionate and proactive, and have the ability to take constructive criticism on board and find solutions to problems. You should be familiar with the full software design life cycle and have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications. You should also be comfortable coding in a number of languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.   Defining and collaborating on key solution architecture and coding approaches Defining specifications and technical documentation Designing, coding, testing and deployment of .NET websites across multiple systems/platforms Developing databases and writing SQL code to support .NET applications and websites Implement website functionality and page/content templates within eCommerce based CMS Collaborate with internal and external team members Follow outlined standards of quality related to code and systems Develop automated tests and conduct performance tuning Mentoring a team of skilled developers and junior developers   5+ years experience in developing enterprise software solutions Optimizely (EPiServer) or Sitecore CMS preferred, Umbraco, Kentico is a bonus Expertise in C#, .NET, and Visual Studio Experience with Microsoft Azure will be highly regarded Strong experience in building efficient, secure, testable, and reusable features Familiar with design patterns Understanding of software development, design principles and coding standards Good understanding of task and knowledge management system like Jira, Confluence, etc Proficient understanding of code management tools, such as bitbucket, Azure Devops, etc. Sound knowledge and experience with Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to develop effective relationships with team members and clients. Identify and respond rapidly to sudden changes in priorities and workload, to support business priorities. Experience working with ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Unit Testing, and Web API   Education and certifications Bachelors or equivalent in software engineering or computer science (Mandatory) Certifications in Optimizely Content Cloud or Commerce Cloud (Mandatory) Certification in Commercetools, Contentful or other headless technologies (Preferred) Azure or AWS certifications (Preferred)   Professional attributes Work collaboratively in a team with internal and external stakeholders Good communication skills with business and technical stakeholders Analytical and logical thinking Effective time management and prioritisation of tasks Experience working in an agile development environment   Please note: All applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
