We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Caregiver to provide exceptional care for our child in Abbotsford, V2S 0M4. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in the child's development, ensuring their safety, well-being, and early learning experiences. This is a full-time job, permanent for 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week. Job Title: Child Caregiver Employer Name: Arun Sharma Position: 1 Wage: $ 18.00-$20.00/Hour (depending upon experience) for 40 hours a week Language: English Terms of Employment: Full time, Permanent Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available Work Setting: Employer's home Responsibilities: · Provide attentive and compassionate care for the infant, including feeding, diaper changing, bathing, and dressing. · Create a safe and stimulating environment for the child's development, including engaging in age-appropriate activities and play. · Follow the feeding and sleeping schedule as directed by the parents. · Maintain cleanliness and organization of the belongings, including nursery and play areas. · Communicate regularly with parents regarding the progress, milestones, and any concerns or questions. · Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the baby. · Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times, including proper hygiene practices and safe handling of equipment and supplies. Requirements: · Completion of High School · Completion of a training program in social work, child and youth care Or 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience. · First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) · Must have a flexible schedule and be available for early morning, day, early evening, and split shifts as the child's schedule · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
