Currently we are hiring 5 full time Construction Helpers to join our growing team. Position Details: Position: Construction Helper Company name: Phoenix Construction Systems Ltd. Company location: 33466 Marshall Rd, Abbotsford, BC - V2S 1K9 Number of positions: 5 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: $34.62 per hour Start date: As soon as possible Work locations: Abbotsford, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland (BC) area as per the company's work contracts with its clients. Position duties: ● Assist skilled tradesmen in their activities at construction sites and provide equipment, supplies, and other required materials to them as required. ● Prepare the construction site by cleaning obstacles and hazards to maintain a clean and safe job site. ● Move materials to work sites and load and unload construction supplies. ● Put up and take down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades at construction sites ● Mix, pour, and spread construction materials. ● Remove rubble and debris from the work site. ● Clean work areas, machines, and equipment, and store construction tools at the designated area of work sites at the end of the shift. Position requirements: ● Some work experience as a construction laborer would be an asset. ● Candidates should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and in all weather conditions. Note: · If any of the current employee of Phoenix Construction Systems Ltd. makes a referral that results in to hire, the company will pay $500 referral to that employee. · Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided up to $1500.00 for qualified candidates.
