Wages: $30.00 per hour for 30 - 44 hours per week Terms of Employment: Permanent; Full-Time Applicants with part-time availability are encouraged to apply Employment Conditions: Day; Evening; Overtime; Shift; Weekend JOB REQUIREMENTS: Languages: English Education: Secondary school graduation certificate Experience: Minimum of three years Work Setting: Commercial; Residential; Construction; Renovation Job Duties: · Interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand the layout and structural requirements. · Accurately measure and cut wooden and other building materials, such as lumber and plywood, to the required dimensions according to the project specifications. · Construct the framework, including walls, floors, ceilings, and roof structures. · Install structural components such as beams, columns, and trusses, to provide support and stability. · Adhere to building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process to ensure structural integrity and compliance with legal requirements. · Coordinate with other construction trades such as electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians, to ensure seamless workflow. · Properly maintain and care for tools, equipment, and machinery used in framing operations to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
