The Pharmacist provides information about the optimal use of medications and promotes the cost effectiveness of medications through evidence:baseddecision making. Further, pharmacists contribute to the knowledge base of drug information by partaking in practice:basedresearch initiatives andpromoting evidence:basedpractice or services through drug use evaluation.
