About the Opportunity Nova Scotia Health and the Department of Family Practice is seeking a certified Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Primary Health Care Portfolio. Family Practices are involved in the provision of clinical care to patients and their families, engage in quality and safety processes, and participate in trainee education and academic activities. Guided by a series of medical directives, the successful applicant will provide clinical services under the supervision of an assigned Family Physician. This position will offer the PA an opportunity to work to their full scope of practice. As a member of the team, the Physician Assistant will report to the Primary Supervising Family Physician and functions within a dynamic collaborative care team. Reporting to the local manager and under the supervision of a family physician, the PA will provide comprehensive, continuous and coordinated primary care to patients across the lifespan.
