Employer: Nat Jay Beauty Hair Cut Inc. o/a Nat Jay Hair Cut and Afro Beauty Supply Vacancies: 1 Position: Assistant Store Manager (NOC 60020) Employment Terms and Conditions: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Day, Morning, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Wage: $41.25-43.00 Expected Start Date: As soon as possible Work Location: 3131 27 St NE Unit 37, Calgary, AB T1Y 0B3 Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: · Assist in planning, organizing, and overseeing daily operations to ensure the barbershop runs smoothly and efficiently · Address customer inquiries, and handle customer complaints · Support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, scheduling barbers, assigning staff duties and monitor staff performance · Oversee daily cash handling procedures, reconcile receipts, and prepare sales reports monthly or as needed · Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies and retail products as needed to ensure the shop is fully stocked. · Maintain positive relationships with product and supply vendors, managing orders and coordinating deliveries to ensure product availability. · Conduct market research, assist in implementing promotional activities and strategies to increase foot traffic and boost sales. · Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment · Other tasks assigned by Store Manager Position Requirements and Qualifications: · Completion of high school education; additional training/certificate in a related field as an asset · 2-3 years of experience in the barber/ beauty or retail industry · Leadership; Strong organization; Effective interpersonal skills · Client focus; Flexibility; Judgement; Reliability; Team player, Time management Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment; Attention to detail; Work under pressure How to Apply If you are interested in the position and would like to join and grow with us, we encourage you to send us a Cover Letter and Resume (plus, references, etc.) by email to natjay.yyc@gmail.com
