A typical day as a Cyber Security Consultant involves collaborating with our clients to understand their priorities, business operations and their constraints in implementing cybersecurity controls to: : Identify prioritized cyber security controls, : Translate cyber security requirement into conceptual designs, : Develop solution design and supporting processes, and : Facilitate the implementation of cyber security controls. Supporting activity includes: : Facilitating workshops to document requirements, : Review design documentation related to various capability areas (e.g.: vulnerability management, security operations, SIEM, network security etc.) : Document cybersecurity operating processes, standards and playbooks : Conduct gap analysis and provide specific recommendations, : Lead junior resources and provide guidance on completion of tasks, : Manage project level activities including, creation of project plan, management and tracking of tasks, and development of project status reporting, : Identify, managing and tracking delivery risks, and : Tracking of project financials. Enough about us, let's talk about you :1 : 3 years of experience working in Cyber Security. :Strong knowledge of cybersecurity capabilities, technologies and processes. :Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships and lead teams of skilled professionals. :Organized and proactive with the ability to work within deadlines and budget constraints. :An understanding of security concepts such as Cloud, Zero Trust, Defense:in:Depth, firewalling, virtualization, encryption, vulnerability management, intrusion detection, incident response and SIEM. :Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO and CIS.
