Overview: ATS' Global Services team is a dynamic, change:leading team that drives the delivery of value:driven Services to our customers worldwide. Services is a growing component of the overall delivery of value to ATS' customers globally and offers an opportunity for a motivated individual to represent a well:defined offer of high:value service solutions to our customers. The Sales Development Leader will focus on building pipelines for our ATS Global Service businesses and corporate partners. As a highly successful customer advocate and business developer, this resource will coordinate both internal and customer resources by exceeding their customer expectations and ensuring they are supported by our life cycle support strategy. This position requires a candidate with a strong technical background, project management experience, and customer relationship development skills. At ATS, we know that the key to growth is a high:performing sales team. That's why we're seeking a qualified Sales Development Leader to find and screen high:potential customers who could benefit from our market:leading services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal Sales Development Leader has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up Regional Business Development Leaders, Key Account Service Leaders, and Capex Account Managers for success. The Sales Development Leader should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer has an opportunity to boost top:line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability. Responsibilities: :Pipeline Development: Own the top:of:funnel strategy, ensuring consistent generation of high:quality leads through outbound and inbound efforts. :Sales Process Optimization: Develop scalable processes for lead generation, qualification, and hand:off to Account Executives. :Metrics and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as outreach volume, conversion rates, and lead:to:opportunity ratios. Use data to inform strategy and improve performance. :Collaboration with Marketing: Partner closely with marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and lead qualification criteria. :Sales Tools and Technology: Leverage CRM and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, etc.) to improve team efficiency and visibility. :Market Feedback: Provide regular feedback to product and marketing teams on market trends, customer needs, and messaging effectiveness. :Inter:Company Collaboration: Work in tandem with ATS divisional and regional sales, marketing, and product teams to execute campaigns and refine outbound strategies based on feedback and insights gathered during outreach activities. :Trade Show Engagement: Execute trade show:related communications from pre:event outreach to post:event follow:ups. :Sales Collateral Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling outbound sales materials, such as one:pagers, brochures, and pitch decks tailored to the target audience. :The role will be expected to regularly attend sales and product training for ATS Global Services as well as workshops or seminars to hone outbound sales techniques and stay updated with industry best practices. :Travel: 10:20, domestic and international (onsite training, strategy planning, and trade shows) Qualifications: : Bachelors degree a plus : 5+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or sales leadership roles, preferably in B2B manufacturing environments, such as life sciences, industrial automation, food and beverage, or power generation. : Strong understanding of lead generation and qualification processes. : Experience working cross:functionally with marketing, sales ops, and customer success teams.
