Company's Operating Name: Canco Website: www.cancopetroleum.ca Business Address: 7163 Vedder Road, Chilliwack, BC V2R 4E3 Position Position: Retail Store Supervisor Type of employment: Full-Time; Permanent No of positions: 1 Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible Work Location: 7163 Vedder Road, Chilliwack, BC V2R 4E3 Salary & Benefits Wage: $23.00 per hour Overtime, Vacation Pay, Paid Sick Leave Stable & full-time employment Night shift premium, Flexible schedules Career advancement opportunities Job Responsibilities · Supervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers, assigning tasks and scheduling shifts. · Authorize financial transactions, manage returns, and oversee cash handling. · Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and address supply shortages promptly. · Maintain inventory levels, order merchandise, and manage stock efficiently. · Generate reports on sales, merchandising, and staff performance. · Assist in hiring and training new employees, providing feedback and performance evaluations. · Ensure the store's visual standards, such as displays and cleanliness, are upheld. · Perform operational tasks typically assigned to staff as needed. · Manage key holding responsibilities including opening and closing the store and addressing escalated issues. · Implement marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement. · Step in to perform cashier duties as required to maintain service efficiency. Job Requirements · Completion of secondary education. · Proven experience in retail sales. · Supervisory experience is beneficial but not required. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to effectively lead and manage a team towards achieving set goals. · Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. · Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle workplace challenges. · Commitment to excellent customer service and team collaboration.
