Primary Function Responsible for budgeting, reporting, and analysis of the financial results of 2 business segments, SG and A budgeting and analysis, providing financial support to the A. O. Smith New Product Development process, and providing support and reporting assistance to the manufacturing locations. Responsibilities : Coordinate the US Selling and General Administration and Engineering expense budgeting process with department head :Vice President (80 departments, 15:20 department heads,100M spend). : Provide high:level walk:forwards to assist leadership in understanding the change in spending and headcount. : Budget, report, and analyze Wholesale SBU financial results. : Budget, report, and analyze Export SBU financial results. : Support plants with individual budgeting and reporting (plan templates, plan pre:views etc), consolidate plant variances and develop high level comments, and provide analysis for inventory and conversion cost. : Coordinate various performance excellence projects within the Finance area. : Support the A. O. Smith New Product Development process by providing financial analyses (P and L impact, balance sheet impact, cash flow, PAR index, payback, other as needed) for specific projects. : Perform other duties as assigned.
