Representing over 1,300 family farms in the province, CFO is responsible for a growing, profitable and sustainable chicken industry. The Business Services Associate at CFO works with the CFO team, farmers and stakeholders to provide technical and administrative support from our corporate office located in Guelph. The role requires agile thinking, proven problem-solving, and a keen ability to prioritize. The role will work collaboratively with all CFO functional groups, and a desire to comprehensively learn about the broiler industry and the Ontario agriculture sector is desirable. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Farmer and Stakeholder SupportBy phone, email and in-person conversation, you will provide administrative support and customer service to farmers and stakeholders, assisting them to conduct their chicken business Working with the CFO Communications team, you will disseminate CFO information and industry updates, and provide in-person support as requiredIn collaboration with technical staff, you will establish goals and objectives for system improvements and upgradesYou will act as a liaison with the various CFO departments to resolve farmer and stakeholder issues Assist with Corporate ProjectsAssist with various strategic projects outlined by the Strategic Plan at the direction of the Manager, Customer Relations Front Line StaffingProvide front line / Tier 1 support to a wide range of stakeholders that contact CFO’s head office on the main reception line Aid in the rollout of the updated farmer portal, pulling reports and monitoring coverage as necessaryProvide support for specific farmer segments as necessary, facilitating their business needsSupport the administration of the CFO Cares Farmers to Food Banks program QUALIFICATIONS:EducationCollege Diploma or Degree in Office Business Administration, Agriculture or Commerce Experience3 - 4 years’ experience in customer service, program support, customer relationship management, administration, and project support Preferred Skills and AbilitiesAdvanced Microsoft Office SuiteData entry/program monitoring Project management ticketing systemCustomer relationship management database experienceMultiline telephone systems such as RingCentral Competencies/KnowledgeCustomer-focused service and support with an ability to understand customer needsStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate across various channels – phone, email, chat functionsProblem-solver who takes initiative and enjoys interacting with othersAbility to balance multiple priorities within deadlinesWillingness to learn more about various computer systems and the chicken sector in generalDevelop and maintain working relationships in a cross-functional environmentExperience and/or understanding of the agricultural sector an assetBilingual in English/French would be an asset CFO's Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:At CFO, we are committed to diversity and inclusion, reflecting our industry and the communities where we live and work.
