Job Description

The Regulatory team is currently seeking a Regulatory Portfolio Manager that will provide regulatory leadership and strategic direction for assigned project teams to support the registration of new active ingredients, end-use products, label expansions, and products undergoing re-evaluation.We have a Flexible Work Location approach and this role can be based in Guelph, ON, Calgary, AB and we are open to remote work accommodations across Canada with preference given to Ontario residents.Duties:Manage the submission & registration process to secure timely registrations for new active ingredients and existing products. Respond to PMRA questions arising during submission review or re-evaluation. Ensure compliance with evolving federal and provincial legislation. Secure timely registrations that meet or exceed company strategic goals and business objectives.Identify & communicate risks to registration timelines, market introduction and re-evaluation. Develop re-evaluation, market access and submission strategies to achieve business objectives.Provide regulatory input/expertise at Canadian, North American & Global cross-functional teams as well as representing Syngenta externally (with groups such as Crop Life Canada, Pest Management Centre, minor use groups, grower’s groups).Communicate detailed scientific information and PMRA requirements to a range of stakeholders. Critically review promotional and/or communications materials and ensure compliance.
