The Opportunity The Research Coordinator works within the Research Team of the Department of Women's and Obstetric Anesthesia as a member of the Dalhousie University Department of Anesthesia, Pain Management and Perioperative Medicine's Office of Research. The Team is led by the Medical Director of Research at the IWK with a group of Principal Investigators and a Research Manager. The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to office:related duties (data management, literature searching, funding submissions) and data collection at the primary point of care. Major Responsibilities :Coordinates the planning and implementing of research projects :Coordinates the conduct of studies and obtaining informed consent :Coordinates the screening, recruitment, and enrollment of subjects according to REB approved protocols :Performs statistical analysis :Prepares Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions and amendment forms :Assists in the preparation of manuscript and academic funding submissions :Provides support for the operational aspects of research within the Department of Women's and Obstetric Anesthesia working with the Dalhousie University Anesthesia Department :Office of Research as required :Performs data resolution and reviews subjects' charts as necess
