Inland Technical Services Ltd is looking for a Full-Time CAD and O&M Manual Technician (NOC 22212)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $34.62/hour, with benefits. This role ensures that all documentation is accurate, complete, and adheres to project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. This role involves reviewing engineering specifications, drawings, and related technical information such as Building Information Models (Bluerithm), sup-porting multidisciplinary teams or working independently as needed. The ideal candidate is highly orga-nized, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of construction documentation and building sys-tems. Responsibilities · Assist in job preparation tasks and produce CAD schematic drawings and sketches as required under direction of the department Lead. · Support various data entry needs related to project setup and documentation. · Operate Computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting software. · Complete documentation packages. · Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design/field data. · Operate Bluerithm to ensure building data is correctly collected and implementing integrations to other BIM systems. · Manage Bluerithm and ensuring projects are setup correctly such as engineering designs, engi-neering calculations, specifications and etc. · Write technical reports as needed. · Write building systems descriptions. · Develop maintenance schedules and plans for buildings. · Prepare or review construction specifications. · Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to gather equipment data, warranties, manuals, and certifications. · Maintain a systematic approach to document collection, tracking progress to ensure timely submissions. · Organize O&M manuals with clear structure and logical order, including table of contents, sec-tioning, and indexing. · Review and verify the accuracy of all documents, including equipment details, start-up proce-dures, and maintenance schedules. · Compile building systems descriptions as well as maintenance programs. · Assist with overall project management duties, including the coordination of resources and scheduling. Job Requirements: · Post-secondary education in mechanical or industrial engineering, engineering design technolo-gy, construction management, or related field preferred. · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF editing software, and CAD software. · Project management experience is an advantage. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. · Experience in analyzing systems/processes for efficiency. · Experience with testing and balancing or any HVAC activities is an advantage. · Language at the workplace is English.
