A supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company Job Responsibilities · Oversee daily operations of the assigned location, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. · Monitor inventory levels, coordinate vendor deliveries, and maintain accurate stock records. · Ensure a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment at all times. · Assign duties to team members, create shift schedules, and provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback. · Foster an inclusive and respectful work culture that encourages teamwork and accountability. · Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and solution-focused manner. · Support execution of in-store promotions, merchandising plans, and pricing strategies to drive sales and improve customer experience. · Analyze sales trends and assist in meeting revenue targets through effective team leadership and promotional efforts. · Manage cash handling procedures, including reconciliations, deposits, and compliance with financial controls. · Track and approve operational expenses, assist with budgeting, and ensure cost-effective site management. · Act as the site lead in the absence of the Site Manager, taking full responsibility for store operations. · Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of merchandise. · Prepare and maintain operational reports, shift summaries, and other documentation as required. · Foster a positive and inclusive work culture where all team members feel respected and supported. · Perform other key responsibilities as assigned to support overall business operations. Qualifications & Requirements · Completion of secondary school is required; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field is considered an asset. · Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in a retail, fuel, or convenience store setting. · Strong leadership and team building skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff toward achieving performance goals. · Proven ability to foster an inclusive and respectful work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability. · Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. · Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. · Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and hands on approach to operations. · Must be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by store operations.
