Terry Pro Painters is a Kelowna-based and operated business since 2007. We are specialized in residential and commercial painting. We are looking for a permanent full-time Construction painter to assist with our growing business. Salary: C$25.00/hour (30-40hrs/week) with 4% paid vacation. Work location: Various Locations throughout Okanagan Valley, Kelowna, BC. Language of work: English Number of positions: 1 Responsibilities: - Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted by power washing surfaces, scraping, and sanding. - Cover areas that are not going to be painted. - Remove old wallpaper and paint. - Repair cracks and holes in walls by using filler and mudding. - Apply paint and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces by using brushes, rollers, or other spray equipment. - Occasionally do a painting using oil stain for certain areas. - Advise consumers on colours. - Erect scaffolding and ladders. - Remove and dispose of materials used to protect areas and edges once the painting task is completed. - Follow the instructions and specifications to estimate the quantities of materials. - May provide cost estimates to clients. - Follow strict Covid-19 protocols.
