Other benefits: Variable performance-based commission Vacation: Two weeks per year Hours of Work: 32-44 hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities · Supervising and leading sales associates, ensuring they provide excellent customer service, meet sales targets, and adhere to store policies and procedures. · Training new employees on product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques. Providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities for existing staff to improve performance. · Overseeing inventory levels, ensuring stock is properly displayed and replenished, and coordinating with the inventory control team to manage stock levels effectively. · Ensuring that furniture displays are visually appealing, well-organized, and regularly refreshed to attract customers and promote sales. · Resolving customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. · Overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols. · Completing paperwork, such as sales reports, staff schedules, and inventory records. · Collaborating with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and events to drive foot traffic and increase sales. · Liaising with furniture suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
