Our fun and outgoing staff are happy to help you find what you are looking for. Manhattan Home is looking for a skilled individual as a Retail Sales Supervisor for our showroom located in Nanaimo BC. This position is full-time with 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. As a Retail Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following: · Manage retail staff, including cashiers and people working on the floor. · Meet financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective actions. · Ensure pricing is correct. · Work on store displays and make sure the displays are clean and ready for the customers. · Coach, counsel, recruit, train, and discipline employees. Evaluate on-the-job performance. · Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers. Approve contracts with vendors. · Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock. · Keep up with fluctuating supply and demand. · Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company's standards. · Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met. · Organize and distribute staff schedules. · Preside over staff meetings. · Help retail sales staff achieve sales targets.
