Heres how aTechnical Compliance Manager, reporting to the Director Engineering : Solar, for our Solar Canadaoffice contributes to our team: Responsibilities :Review proposed contracts and contract amendments to identify technical issues, gaps, overlaps, or inconsistencies and communicate findings effectively. :Evaluate samples of submitted Engineer of Record drawings and studies for contractual compliance. :Analyze samples of purchase orders, shop drawings, and commissioning reports for technical compliance. :Conduct site visits across North America and Australia to assess completed work, ensuring adherence to quality guidelines, codes, and contract specifications. :Prepare detailed reports from reviews and share findings with relevant stakeholders. :Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and senior management to implement and promote continuous improvement. :Review training materials to ensure they align with best practices and compliance standards. :Other duties as required. Qualifications :Bachelor's degree and/or Professional Engineerin Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy preferred. :10+ years of progressive field, design, and commissioning experience in the North American solar industry preferred. :Strong technical knowledge of solar industry standard operating processes and procedures, including: :Electrical System Study software such as ETAP, etc. :Single:Line Diagrams (SLD) :Construction design drawings and specifications :Standard commissioning testing and procedures :Performance Acceptance Testing methods :Excellent written and verbal communication skills. :Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers. :Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, project management and scheduling software, with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
