We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Bookkeeper to fill an immediate position at our office. Duties: - Full cycle accounting including invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions - Maintain general ledger accounts and perform account reconciliations - Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions - Prepare financial statements and reports - Process payrolls and maintain employee records - Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Complete and submit tax remittance, and prepare tax returns - Conduct other statistical, financial and accounting tasks Qualifications: - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - 3-5 years of experience as a bookkeeper/accountant - Bookkeeper experience in an import or export trading company is an asset - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills - Strong organizational and time management abilities - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines The successful Bookkeeper candidate must be a self-motivated and reliable professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-working office environment and is able to multi-task and adapt to evolving priorities.
