Accounting Technician
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
· Regular reconciliation and inventory report as required
· Close cash board
o Calculate total payments received and reconcile with total sales
o Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
o Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, parts, and service departments
o Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries
· Post revenue by verifying and entering transactions from bank statements and payments received
· Prepare and post journal entry
· Verifies of accounts and investigate information from Sales & Service departments
· Assist with month-end and year-end closings
o preparation and coordination of the audit process
o Monthly reconciliation of inventory, several accounts schedules
o Prepare report for number of car and contract sold during the month
o Reconciles warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule
· Prepare and claim funds for co-op advertising
· Monthly account/bank/ flooring reconciliations
· Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices
· Collating, preparing, and issuing information related to customer accounts, including invoices, bills, inventory records, account reports, and any other relevant financial statements, using computerized or manual systems
· Post New, used, wholesale, lease buyout, dealer trade and pre-owned vehicles deals
· Calculate, prepare and post sales commissions for payroll
· Verify, post and pay extended warranty and contracts
· Post funding from financial institutions & loan payout
· Flooring, reconcile the extended warranty, payouts and related responsibilities
· Collecting, verifying and calculating employee's time ticket data
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
· Completion of a college program in accounting
· 3~5 years of work experience
· Working proficiency in dealership accounting
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
· Proficient in MS Office and data entry
· Excellent organizational and time management skills to multi-task
· Attention to detail and accuracy

POSITION TYPE:
Permanent, Full-Time - 30~35 hours weekly
Wage - $34.07 hourly
