Job ID: R2000568785 Job Description: Reporting directly to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, the incumbent is responsible for analysis of a set of store expense accounts. The incumbent is responsible completing data/financial analyses & projections and interpreting the implications of these findings on the business. The person will also offer support to the stores and communicate with various internal departments. Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform period-end close activities, including journal entries, analysis of expense accounts and concise variance explanations to support review of consolidated financial resultsDevelop store level annual operating plan and ongoing forecasts to include current trends and expectations for major driversMaintain strong relationships with stores and internal corporate stakeholders and provide support as necessary with interpreting financial results.Actively seek opportunities for process improvement & escalate high risk activityDevelop and maintain reference documentation as necessarySupport ad hoc projects and initiatives as required and be the first daily contact for any financial related issue Skills, Experience & Education SkillsThis position requires a demonstrated level of initiative and judgment to organize and prioritize tasks and workload.
