We promote leaders at every level and support our people to follow their passion.?The Assistant Product Manager works in a fast-paced environment to support the product development journey to bring our beloved brands including President?s Choice and no name to life. The successful candidate will liaise with our supplier base ensuring their contributions to the project are complete and on time. They are also responsible for leading weekly meetings with internal stakeholders to update progress and meet target launch dates. Working alongside a Product Manager, the Assistant Product Manager will support with sales analysis, competitive shop reviews and category strategies.?What You'll Do:Monitor the development and execution process with PM/PD/QAS/RA/PT to ensure on-time and on-strategy delivery of new products and updates to existing productsDevelop project timelines and assign tasks to team members within SAP and CPMTResponsible for the listing of all approved projects in the internal LBL PLM as well as ensuring new GTINs are given to CBST/Category to list in SAPSupport the PM in chairing design kick-off meetings to ensure team alignment to the project strategy by gathering information and samplesSupport the PM in chairing project kick-off meetings with the vendor. Develop vendor-specific timelines and communicate all of the information a vendor will require in order to support the on-time delivery of a project, as well as understand LCL critical path milestonesManage the critical path for all active projects and report on project statusChair weekly team meetings with the team (PM/PD/QA/RA/PT) to review the status of projects and help develop solutions to barriers/project delaysAct as a liaison between the project team and the in-house editorial, design, and productionResponsible for ensuring artwork quotations are signed off by vendorsSupport the PM in the development of a strategic product plan and SAP product briefs reflecting business priorities which meet or exceed category financial objectivesAssist and capture meeting minutes during bi-weekly category management meetingsAssist the PM, when required, in preparing for Quarterly Strategy Sessions using LBL business initiatives, Mintel, category reviews and AC Nielsen as support informationCreate and analyze reports from Microstrategy, ABI and SAP retail and builds weekly sales reports for PM & DirectorResponsible for master label copy creation/circulation and artwork circulation to team and vendorWeekly sales reporting highlighting the key sales driversCollecting, communicating and monitoring seasonal program performance; post seasonal sell through reportingAd hoc reporting as required?What You'll Need:Well developed project management skills are essentialHighly organized, able to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast paced environmentStrong time management skills and problem solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong work ethic with a passion for detail and accuracyPost-secondary educationExperience in project management is an asset?Key Measures (Performance indicators):On time delivery of product plans that deliver to approved strategiesContribute to the achievement of defined sales objectives?Our commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact is an essential part of the way we do business, and we focus our attention on areas where we can have the greatest impact.
