Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Service Project Manager who, through their expertise and project management skills, will help our company quickly gain more customers and market share in the smart lighting and home automation sectors. As a Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring the success of projects from concept to market launch throughout the entire process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Crafting precise estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead for home automation projects, grounded in thorough analysis of construction documents, contract bids, quotes, designs, or schematic drawings and specifications.
·Establishing and refining an effective project governance structure and workflow processes tailored to each project's needs, guaranteeing project success.
·Developing comprehensive Home Automation project plans, inclusive of Audio/Visual Solutions and Lighting Control, with clearly defined objectives, outcomes, and communication strategies.
·Ensuring the full home automation project team is aligned on the project's goals and success metrics, including scope, timeline, and challenges to be addressed.
·Providing mentorship, guidance, and management to on-site personnel, delegating and evaluating the technical tasks undertaken by project team members, and facilitating coordination across project teams.
·Supervising the drafting of project specifications for the procurement and installation of materials and equipment.
·Handling multiple projects/estimates simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills and adherence to bidding deadlines.
·Engaging in site inspections, Statement of Work (SOW) evaluations, and project transitions, liaising with management and procurement as necessary.
Addressing daily challenges related to project execution, staffing, and administration efficiently.
·Detecting and rectifying any discrepancies or inaccuracies in subcontractor proposals or architectural plans.
·Engaging with clients in consultations and negotiations to finalize proposals, specifications, quotes, and engineering reports.
·Ensuring thoroughness in project documentation, covering all aspects of design and engineering, including all commitment packages, as-built documents, and data returns.
