Record production information: Reporting production and safety issues to Supervisors on shift. Set up and operate machines to can, bag, box or otherwise package fish and seafood products: Setting up production lines for smooth operation and product flow. Monitor different types of fish processing machinery/equipment. Follow production guidelines and specifications for multiple species and products. Stage fish in an organized fashion to facilitate smooth production on the plant floor. Utilize manual and computer tracking systems to follow production data on the floor or in the warehouse. Operate a forklift to transfer raw materials and/or finished products between the warehouse and working area. Work on production lines performing manual duties with accuracy and consistency. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
