Position: Restaurant Manager
Duration/Type: Permanent/Full Time
Work Location: 8970 Goreway Drive, Brampton, ON, L6T 5P4
Salary: $58,000 annually; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP.
Other Benefits: Variable performance-based bonus, Optional Group insurance benefits including medical, dental and eye care coverage on cost sharing basis would be offered to the employee upon completion of six months of employment period with the organization
Vacation: 4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 32.5 Hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week
Position Overview:
· The Tim Hortons Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant, including customer service, staff management, financial performance, and adherence to company standards and policies. The manager is expected to lead by example, create a positive work environment, and ensure that the restaurant consistently delivers a superior dining experience to customers.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
· Recruit, train, and supervise a team of employees, including shift supervisors, counter staff, kitchen staff, and maintenance personnel.
· Conduct regular staff meetings, provide feedback, and facilitate employee development.
· Ensure that customers receive friendly and efficient service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
· Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the restaurant to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
· Handle customer complaints and ensure they are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
· Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance, employees scheduling.
· Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and beverage products.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety protocols.
· Control inventory levels and minimize waste to maximize cost efficiency.
· Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
· Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales, inventory, staffing, and other relevant metrics.
· Conduct performance appraisals, takes disciplinary action, motivate and train.
· Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing plans.
