Leads and oversees Financial Planning and Analysis for Technology team ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. In this role, you will: : Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. : Supervise a direct report, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to ensure their growth and success. : Act as finance business partner for Technology team to provide strategic analysis, financial modelling allowing technology stakeholders make informed investment and prioritization decision. : Act as first line of defense for Technology team teams to address questions related to financial transparency, allocations to Business Lines, accounting principles and financial controls. : Support annual planning, monthly forecasting activity including variance analysis. : Support and track cost saving initiatives with clear articulation of technology and business risk resulting from prioritization decisions. : Support monthly headcount report and analysis on the data for monthly / quarterly reporting (tracking of new hires, attrition, vacancies, conversions etc.) : Lead financial transparency initiative that includes but not limited to run rate spend analysis, YOY analytics relative to baseline technology (KTLO) versus business line incremental spend. : Instill financial governance through implementing best practices, making recommendations, and communicating applicable financial policies and accounting guidelines to relevant parties. : Engage with partners across both Finance, Business Line, and Technology divisions from all levels : Provide management reporting, planning, and forecasting of operating spend : Demands at month:end/quarter:end are high in terms of financial reporting requirements; must balance workloads and produce high quality output efficiently to meet tight deadlines : There is a constant need to reassess the nature and content of management reporting and initiate changes to produce increasingly value:added, insightful analysis and reporting, while balancing the pressing demands to meet current reporting deadlines, prioritize executive requests and deal with day:to:day issues.
