Job Overview: King Animal Hospital is hiring passionate and experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our Small Animal Emergency team in our 60,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility offering specialty referral, rehabilitation, and emergency services. You shall be employed in the position of Veterinary Technician. Reporting to the Registered Veterinary Technician Manager. Why Join Us? · Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RVTs, ACAs, and Board-Certified Specialists in Surgery, Critical Care, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, and Rehabilitation · Gain hands-on experience with advanced procedures like central line placement, CRI management, transfusion medicine, and ventilation Duties: · Providing exceptional nursing care and support to patients including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, performing diagnostics and completing treatments · Working collaboratively with the veterinary team to provide advanced diagnostics as well as exceptional care · Obtaining and processing samples using in-house diagnostic lab equipment · Preparing and maintaining detailed medical records, including patient histories, treatment plans, and diagnostic results using our information systems · Communicating with pet owners to provide updates on their pet's condition, as well as intake and discharge appointments and follow up calls · Participating in continuing education and professional development to stay up to date on the latest innovations and developments in referral, emergency and critical care · Creating anesthetic protocols and performing sedated treatments and procedures as well as general anesthesia · Triaging and stabilizing emergency patients · Assisting with duties in other departments as required by the Company · Any other Veterinary Technician duties as required
