The Mechanical Equipment Engineering department largely focuses on the design of mechanical equipment and systems for CANDU reactors. The Mechanical Equipment Engineering group focuses on the design, development and test of mechanical equipment for automated and semi:automated fueling machines, medical isotope systems, robotic systems, and maintenance tooling for nuclear reactors and related systems. This includes but not limited to concept design, detailed design, design calculations, assessments, studies, technical document preparation and manufacturing, test, commissioning, maintenance and operational support. :Facilitate the preparation of proper plans and schedules (level 3) with individual contributors. Take ownership of the cost/schedule commitments of your team. :Create and enforce the use of Task Definition Forms (TDFs) for work assignments. :Provide leadership and direction of design activities in conjunction with the technical counselors.
