The team: Scotiabank's Global Technology Services (GTS), IT Asset Management (ITAM) team is responsible for the management of technology assets, which includes optimizing the value and cost of technology assets while mitigating the risks these assets present to the organization throughout their life. This is done by establishing an effective technology life cycle that spans from technology asset selection, operation, refresh, migration, optimization, all the way through the retirement and disposal of the asset. The role: Reporting to a Senior Manager, you will contribute to the overall success of the Software Asset Management (SAM) team by ensuring the SAM goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the overall organization strategies and objectives. You will also ensure all activities conducted are compliant with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. In terms of size, scope and complexity: : Majority of the critical vendor products will span global footprint, with a focus on Infrastructure and Data Center environments. : Ensuring asset management activities are in compliance with regulations and controls. In this role, when required, you are expected to work extended hours to ensure project deliverables are completed on time.
