Work Location: Various Locations in Lower Mainland, BC. Salary and Benefits Salary: $28.85 per hour Overtime and Vacation Pay Stable & full-time employment Work-life balance through the flexible and accommodating work environment Job Responsibilities · Assist skilled tradespersons at the work site by providing them tools, equipment, and other materials as required and assisting in other activities. · Load, unload and move construction materials to and from the work site. · Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth to prepare for construction. · Installing and dismantling temporary structures, such as scaffolds, barricades, and signage. · Remove rubble and debris from the work site. · Measure, cut, and assemble construction materials under the guidance of skilled tradespersons. · Clean and prepare the surface. · Maintain open communication with team members to foster a collaborative work environment. · Mix, pour and spread materials as per tradesman's instructions. · Make sure that all safety regulations and procedures are always observed. · Take care of construction equipment, clean it, and store it in a safe place after work shift. · Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, address issues, and plan for upcoming tasks.
