Job Position: Home Child Care Provider Job Type: full-time Hourly Wage: $19 per hour Work Hour: 30 hours per week (overtime may be required) Work Location: 86 - 16318 82 Ave a, Surrey, BC V4N 0N9 Language requirement: English We are seeking a Home Child Care Provider to care for our two children, aged 7 and 2, in our private residence. The ideal candidate should be patient, responsible, and genuinely interested in supporting the well-being of children of different age groups. Job Duties: · Supervise and care for children in our home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. · Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks based on the children's dietary needs and preferences. · Assist with schoolwork and support participation in extracurricular activities, including drop-off and pick-up as needed. · Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities to support the children's physical, emotional, and social development. · Oversee daily routines including meal times, naps, hygiene, and play. · Assist with dressing and personal hygiene needs of children, including diaper changing and toilet training for the younger child. · Perform light housekeeping related to child care, such as tidying play areas, doing children's laundry, and cleaning up after meals. · Provide emotional support and positive guidance, helping children develop appropriate social behavior. · Monitor children's health, behavior, and emotional well-being, and promptly report any concerns to the parents. Qualification: · A high school diploma is preferred. · Proven experience in childcare or a related field is preferred. · A criminal record check is mandatory. · Proof of good health condition is required. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Patience, reliability, and a nurturing attitude. · Ability to communicate effectively in English.
