Job Title : Long Haul Truck Drivers (NOC 73300) Vacancies : 10 positions available Terms of Employment : Full time and permanent Office Location : Unit 221-12565 88 Ave, Surrey, BC V3W 3J7 Yard Location : 19283 28Ave, Surrey, BC, V3S 9V2 Wage : 28.85/hour Job requirements Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience Will train Security and Safety Driver's validity license check Personal Suitability Flexibility, Reliability, Judgement, Team player Specific Skills · Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. · Load and unload goods. · Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. · Receive and relay information to central dispatch. · Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. · Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. · Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. · Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. · Perform brake adjustments. · Perform preventive maintenance Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.) Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Transportation / Travel Experience: Long-haul Weight Handling: Upto 23 kg (50 lbs) Benefits: Standard WCB Benefits and 4% vacation pay Extra Benefits: · We will provide referral bonus of $550 for the employee once the referral complete their 90 days of probation period. · We will provide $300 gift card for joining bonus after completion of their 90 days probation period. · We will provide $500 safety bonus to our drivers who has a clean driving abstract for the entire year.
