Company Location: #103 - 12889 84 Avenue, Surrey, BC - V3W 0K5 Position: Siding Installer Terms of employment: Full-Time; Permanent Salary: $28.00 per hour Number of positions: 5 Start date: As soon as possible Work location(s): Candidates are required to work in Surrey, BC, and various other locations in the Lower Mainland (BC) area as per the company's work contracts with its clients. Position responsibilities: · Read blueprints or work order specifications. · Determine layout and installation procedures. · Measure, and mark guidelines to be used for installations. · Erect and install scaffolding or other working platforms. · Prepare underlying surfaces for installation and perform minor repairs if needed for better installation lifetime. · Install siding as per specifications and schematics for buildings using hand and power tools. · Cut and trim materials to shape when fitting siding around windows or corners, using knife, shears, or portable power saw. Position requirements: · Completion of Secondary school would be considered an asset but not mandatory. · Minimum 6 months of installation work experience in the similar field is required. · Ability to communicate in English.
