Job Duties: · Measuring, cutting, and fitting the drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings. · Interpreting blueprints and performing specific procedures for installation. · Protecting exterior corners by cutting and installing metal corner beads. · Using compound to fill holes, joints, and cracks with the help of broad knife and trowel. · Taping over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound. · Positioning and securing sheets to metal or wooden studs or joints. · Smoothing out excess compound and allowing coat to dry. · Fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids and placing in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
