Work Location: 3457 Kingsway Street Suite 202, Vancouver, BC V5R 5L5 273 - 8128 - 128th Street, Surrey, BC V3W 1R1 Working Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week Language of Work: English Please contact via email: info@yasincpa.com We are now recruiting a General Manager role to assist the executive leadership team in the decision-making, strategy designing, and planning phase for business direction. This position will work closely with other members of the management and general staff to help us achieve organizational goals and maintain a competitive edge in the accounting industry. Job Duties: 1. Participate in the executive-level decision-making process, provide strategic insight in the accounting area, and contribute to the shaping of business directions. 2. Take charge of the creation and update of the company's internal policies and guidelines while realizing the financial objectives set by the upper management. 3. Oversee the various functions our accounting team provides, including auditing, taxation, advisory services, and client relations as well as ensuring each team is operating efficiently and adhering to our organizational goals. 4. Devise action plans to drive up financial outcomes by identifying potential opportunities, expanding the client base, and stimulating revenue growth through accounting services. 5. Allocate financial resources based on priority areas, such as technology upgrades, staff training, marketing, and client acquisition. Match human resources to specific client needs, ensuring a balance of expertise and workload. 6. Supervise the execution of all internal operations, distribute the company budget to prioritize tasks with higher margins of return, and monitor the overall staff workflow while applying adjustments for enhanced productivity. 7. Manage the liaison process with major clients of the company and foster a close relationship with them by meeting their needs, solving accounting-related issues from their business, and exploring opportunities for more services. 8. Conduct periodic analysis of the company's operational integrity, assess potential risks from accounting practices, and implement a risk mitigation strategy that ensures we stay in compliance with regulations. 9. Supervise the recruitment of all management personnel in the company, provide essential guidance through mentoring, and build a strong leadership team with a common goal to fulfill company objectives. 10. Serve as the representative of the company when attending accounting industry forums, expanding business networking and investor relations, and negotiating with prospective partners.
