Job Title: Home Child Care Provider
Wage: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour (Depending on Working Experience)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week (available early morning, daytime, evenings or weekends)
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 20
Benefit: 10 business days of paid vacation or 4% vacation pay
Working Location: #300 - 3665 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC V5R 5W2
(will be working at client's home (various cities in Metro Vancouver area, British Columbia))
Job Duties:
· Care for and provide supervision for children in client's home;
· Follow parents' guidance to discipline children, and support children's emotional well-being and social development;
· Plan, cook and serve meals for children and handle other housekeeping tasks if necessary, and take children to and pick them up from school and appointments;
· Prepare infant formulas and change diapers, and assist with bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children;
· Ensure a safe and healthy home environment, and teach children proper hygiene practices;
· Manage children's routines, including meals, rest, and sleeping periods under the direction of the client;
· Observe and report daily activities and any changes in the children's health or behavior;
· Engage children in age-appropriate learning activities/trainings such as various games, crafts, reading, and outings;
