Crop Defenders Ltd. is looking Five (5) Crop Farm Supervisors to perform the following duties: · Provide agricultural livestock/apiary services · Provide agricultural crop services · Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures · Hire and train workers · Maintain operational records · May participate in the provision of services or in the operation of machinery and equipment · Coordinate, assign and supervise the work of specialized livestock/apiary workers, farm machinery operators, livestock labourers and harvesting labourers · Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock/apiary-related programs · Supervise, monitor and enforce procedures to maintain animal/bumblebees and crop health and welfare · Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations · Supervise maintenance of infrastructure, equipment, and supplies · Develop work schedules and establish procedures · Ensure farm safety, food safety and security and bio-security procedures are followed · Maintain quality control and production records · May perform general farm duties Terms of Employment: · Salary: $20.00 per hour · Permanent, Full Time/ 40.00 Hours per week · Start Date: Immediately · Benefits: Extended health benefits Skills Requirements: · Education: High School or relevant farm work experience; A university degree, college diploma or industry courses in agricultural studies, specialized training in agriculture or livestock husbandry is an asset. · Experience: At least 1 year of experience on a farm · Language: English Business address: 2252 Mark Ave., Windsor, ON N9B 3W8 Location of employment: 3940 Highway 3, Maidstone ON, N0R 1K0 Please send your CV with Cover Letter by E-mail: info@cropdefenders.com
