Roles and Responsibilities: Laptop or Desktop or IT procurement, involves the sourcing, purchasing, and managing of hardware for an organization. Here are some responsibilities of a desktop procurement professional:  Identify requirements: Understand the requirements for a purchase, such as those issued by the design department Negotiate: Discuss prices and quality with vendors to find the best deal for the company Evaluate suppliers: Research, compare, and evaluate potential suppliers Create contracts: Negotiate and evaluate vendor contracts Track inventory: Track inventory and submit purchase orders Recommend products: Recommend new products, services, or materials that align with industry trends Create supplier relationships: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers Identify cost savings: Identify ways to save costs Identify risks: Identify potential risks 1- 3 years of experience in Desktop and Laptop procurement.
