XPO India Shared Services What you'll do on a typical day: : Lead and manage the Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts or team members, sharing best practices and knowledge in Salesforce configuration and customization. : Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the Salesforce platform and propose new features or enhancements. : Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional specifications and technical designs. : Design and configure Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, and security settings. : Collaborate with cross:functional teams, such as developers, administrators, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth implementation and integration of Salesforce with other systems. : Stay up:to:date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and assess their potential impact on the organizations Salesforce instance. : Support troubleshooting and issue resolution related to Salesforce functionalities, configurations, and integrations. : Conduct regular system audits to identify and address any security or compliance risks in Salesforce. : Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and developers to ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of the Salesforce platform. : Ensure high:quality code through best practices, code reviews, and testing. What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, you'll need: : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems or a related field or equivalent related work or military experience : 5:7 years of direct experience as a Salesforce Lead developer role or in a similar role. : Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Community Cloud. : Experience with Salesforce integrations with other systems, such as TMS System, marketing automation, or customer support platforms. : Proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools, such as Process Builder, Flow Builder, and Lightning App Builder : Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Component development : Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Certified Sales/Service Cloud Consultant, are highly desirable. : Knowledge of best practices in Salesforce implementation, data governance, and security. : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross:functional teams, including business users, developers, and administrators. : Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
