The Experience In the changing business and legal scenario a company needs to constantly review, update and comply with various laws and regulations, while achieving the business goals. Legal environment is rapidly changing in India and there are frequent amendments/new regulations. What role will you play as a member of the Legal team? This position is responsible for the smooth and efficient administration of the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. In this role, you willalso be responsible for guiding to the board of directors on corporate governance; capital markets and securities laws, strategic management and business responsibility. Who are you... : You connect the dots: It is crucial to have a pulse on the big picture to keep up with any changes and amendments in laws and advise the board accordingly and help implement the correct action : You are a collaborator: In this role; you'll work with multiple parties which would include internal cross:functional teams across the business on the Annual Report, BRSR and other such reporting; board meetings, shareholders meetings. Externally, you would be responsible for liasoning with the Securities Exchange Board of India, Stock Exchanges, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and Industry Association like CII and FICCI on Corporate governance. : You are an advisor: You will ensure that the companycomplies with relevant legislation and regulations and also keep board members informed of their legal responsibilities. : You are a custodian : you will be responsible to ensure complete adherence to insider trading rules and guidelines.
