As a senior marketing manager, you will be responsible for brand and business strategy, communication development and execution for one of the largest brands in our portfolio which is also one of the most iconic brands in the country. Where does this role fit into the Consumer Marketing team? Our Consumer Marketing team is organized by consumer-need spaces, each led by a Hub Lead. This Sr Marketing Manager role reports to a hub lead, who in turn reports to the EVP, Marketing India. This is a people managerial role, responsible for mentoring and guiding one managerial level team member. What would be the roles and responsibilities?                 Curate the brand strategy by mapping consumer and competitor insights and trends and operationalize it by co-developing an Annual Grid of activities with the Leadership based on the category strategic plan Develop creative solutions to innovate and transform the products by giving inputs to the Innovation team, to be relevant in the current context and suited to the consumers’ need and purpose An owner of remarkable commercial success Have complete clarity and command on the P&L of the brand, orient yourself towards driving a positive impact on the top and bottom-line margin and improving profitability by carefully planning investments for long-term brand building A storyteller of the brand Craft a detailed story for presenting your brand in an evocative way and give way to outstanding media planning by partnering with teams across platforms (Integrated Brand Experiences team, E-commerce, Omnichannel REs). You will also be responsible for internal communication and storytelling to build clarity and conviction across different teams in the organization to partner with you in your goal to take this brand to new heights A mirror of the consumer Be a fly on the wall and constantly practice consumer listening, seek consumer footprints across online and offline touchpoints of the consumer journey and swiftly act on the inputs received through an analysis of promotions, packaging, advertising etc. What are the proficiencies, skills and experiences required for this role? Min 8+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years of prior brand experience An understanding of how the FMCG Industry operates Strong understanding of Brand P&L and levers Consumer Orientation, Brand strategy understanding, Strong Commercial foresight, Communication development experience (Experience in delivery of large campaigns preferred) MBA in Marketing and Sales from a reputed business school is preferred.
