Project Overview: Reliance Industries is one of our key customers and Bechtel is providing Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (Os and Us / OSBL) for their multi:billion:dollar upgrade / expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India. Reliance plans to augment its existing petrochemical facilities in Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand its PVC capacity. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtels India offices. The positions on the project will start at the jobsite in Nagothane, Maharashtra. Job Summary: Bechtel India is seeking applications from experienced senior Electrical and Instrumentation Field Engineers with expertise in the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industries to support the role of 'Lead Discipline Field Engineer : Electrical and Instrumentation' (LDFE:E and I) at the Nagothane jobsite as part of the EPCM organization.The LDFE:E and I will be stationed at the Nagothane jobsite and will be responsible for leading Electrical and Instrumentation construction and field engineering activities in a Construction Management capacity. This role involves overseeing Electrical and Instrumentation field engineers assigned to the project and managing activities related to construction engineering, subcontracts, and engineering liaison with the design functional group. The LDFE:E and I will provide technical direction to contractors regarding construction engineering and design functions related to electrical and instrumentation engineering.The role also includes interpreting design drawings and specifications, supervising field verification of materials, and providing technical direction to contractors in construction engineering and design functions specific to electrical and instrumentation engineering within an area of the project.
