Project Overview: Bechtel is seeking to work with a major Indian corporation to provide Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi:billion:dollar upgrade / expansion of their existing petrochemical facilities in India. The PMC Services will be led out of India with personnel deployed in Mumbai region, the project sites in India, as well as several key contractor locations across India. The EPCM Services for OSBL will be led out of Bechtel's India offices. You will bring your experience and expertise to the PMC role while working within the customer's organization as part of an integrated team. Job Summary: Candidate is responsible for assigned activities within the Mechanical engineering discipline on the project. Applies broad and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Makes decisions independently concerning problems within the discipline. Represents the discipline on the project with Contractors and Owner to resolve technical questions and as required to coordinate work. Major Responsibilities: : Oversees and monitors Contractors' engineering progress for rotating equipment. : Reviews the design scope and deliverables of specific discipline to ensure Contractors perform all work to agreed standards for safety, health, and environment. : Develops Engineering Procedures, design guides, specifications, instructions, philosophies, and design criteria. : Works with other lead discipline engineers to ensure that all interfaces between disciplines are clearly defined and recorded. : Coordinates with other leaders to ensure that multi:discipline interfaces are properly addressed with resolution of technical issues and conflicting design requirements in a timely manner. : Provides technical oversight for rotating equipment by conducting review of the following delive
