Purpose of the Position:  Seeking senior facility equipment engineering resource to lead initiatives related to facility equipment design, construction, commissioning, upgrade and maintenance of Corning manufacturing infrastructure and associated equipment.  Day to Day Responsibilities:  Extend sustainability COE capability/products to support design(research), development and engineering for products and manufacturing process technologies with sustainability.  Facility equipment and utility system design, installation, commissioning and start up  Facility system optimization, cost down and energy saving engagement Knowledge and experience in HVAC, gas, water, firefighting, and associated systems is highlighted. Draft, review and implementation technical proposal in project. Issue weekly/monthly report related to safety, schedule, cost, and quality for construction  Work with Contractor, project team, safety team and construction leaders to address any installation issues.    Project involved with:  May require up to 75% travel for project support mainly in Asia region.  Communication with multiple stake holders such as plant facility engineering teams or division engineering team.  Education & Experience   Bachelor’s degree and above in environmental engineering, thermal and dynamic engineering, or related field of study.  Experience in project initiation, design, implement and close out. Overseas educational experience is a plus.  Experience in construction permitting is a plus.
