What Youll Do: As an HSES Regional Manager : India, you would be responsible for setting priorities, coordinating implementation, and providing expertise to deploy the Lubrizol HSES policy across India as part of the EMEAI Region. You will ensure compliance with applicable regional regulations and corporate standards regarding health and safety, environment and security. You will act as a subject matter expert, advising, supporting and challenging India sites in collaboration with EMEAI and Corporate groups. The role will provide direct support to the Plant Managers in India as part of its scope. What Were Looking For (Responsibilities / Accountabilities): - Provides support / expertise to India sites in the implementation of corporate and regional programs to achieve the corporate goals and objectives. - Develops India plans and supervises execution under the direction of the EMEAI Director and in collaboration with the EMEAI Regional Managers while identifying the need for Subject Matter expert involvement in Plant issues. - Assure compliance with Indian applicable regulations. - Supports the implementation of the India projects in all functional areas where HSES is needed. - Ensure the availability and relevance of indicators to measure the implementation of HSE and S policy. Perform EHS audits as a senior internal auditor. - Participates in defining the content of annual HSES training programs. - Coordinates the sharing of best practices between sites in his/her fields of responsibility. - Position requires domestic travel around India sites. Skills That Make a Difference: - B.S. Degree : Engineering, Safety or related - 10+ years of experience in HSES, process safety, engineering or related - Must have knowledge of HSES regulations and industry standards - Exposure to a chemical/petrochemical company - Strong organization and influencing skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Ability to travel throughout India and the region : around 20 Ready for your next career step?
