Sales Manager– Chemicals Industry
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €95,000 + Bonus
Hours: Full-time, Office-based

The Role
The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coaching a team of five internal and external account managers, driving revenue growth, and implementing strategic sales initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing, mentoring, and developing the sales team to achieve individual and overall business targets.
* Implementing the sales strategy and ensuring the team meets or exceeds growth objectives.
* Analysing sales data to identify trends, shortfalls, and opportunities, adjusting strategies accordingly.
* Driving sales campaigns across multiple business sectors.
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
Workingclosely with cross-functional teams, including sector-specific sales groups.
* Managing and tracking all sales activities through the CRM system.
* Preparing and delivering reports and presentations to senior management.
* Acting as a key member of the Leadership Team, contributing to overall depot and regional business success.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in sales management (minimum 3 years) within the chemical industry or a related field such as pharmaceuticals.
* Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a track record of developing successful sales teams.* Ability to drive organic growth and identify new business opportunities.
* Experience in data analysis and sales strategy development.
* Strong account management skills in a B2B environment.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage at board level.
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage a diverse team across different experience levels.
* Comfortable working within a large multinational organisation while maintaining a hands-on, results-driven approach.
