Who Are We Looking For?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Field Engineer to join our prestigious Tech Crew on a permanent basis, with responsibility for Engineers covering the northern half of England and Wales, Scotland and Ireland. This role is ideal for someone with excellent technical, people and leadership skills, looking to inspire and support a team of engineers.
With 7 direct reports, people skills are a must as is the knowledge to support your team in their day-to-day technical maintenance roles.
What Does Your New Role Look Like?
As a Lead Field Engineer, you will provide line management and support to your team of engineers, you will do this by
Leadership and Management
Forming great relationships with your team
Training and developing a team of engineers
Providing management, leadership and support to your team including troubleshooting and quality control
Driving KPIs and field delivery standards within your region
Being a point of contact for the client on field operational delivery
Operational Focus
Demonstrating your own skills as an installation/maintenance expert, implementing retail displays for one of the world’s largest technology brands
Working closely with retailers, building strong relationships in your region
Playing a critical part in the launch of new technology, ensuring readiness for launch-day
Ensure retail displays look amazing, replacing parts and tidying up stands when needed
Delivering excellent customer service, going the extra mile to meet client expectations

Demonstrating a 'right first time' attitude, you will deliver updates on time to the correct standard with excellent on-site execution. With a keen eye for detail and technical skills, you will navigate technology effortlessly, communicating confidently at all levels.
To drive standards, you will need to become an expert and have a good understanding o the needs of the client to support the leadership required for your team.

Technical skills – are you savvy enough to navigate a smart phone or tablet, managing multiple apps at the same time?
Confidence is key – liaising with the client, our business partners, your colleagues and the public
Be approachable – as a leader of our Tech Crew you’ll be teaching and developing your team, as well as working in live stores
Full driving licence – you must be able to drive a van and meet our minimum driver requirements (further details upon application)
Trustworthy – you’re representing Momentum Instore, handling market-leading equipment and being the face of the brand. We may conduct a basic DBS check for any successful candidate.
